Portrait of Jamile (2006)
I took a 30 minute slow shutter exposure photograph of Jamile in the Central Station in Antwerp, Belgium. During these 30 minutes I recorded her and the environment on video. I then processed the video using the software. Here is an extract of the result.
Tenshi 1.0 (2005) - a performance
In October 2005, during the dance Festival ‘Danse en vol’, Recyclart (Brussels, Belgium), I presented a performance with the dancers, Anna Bussey and Alice Tiezzi. The dance was at the same time recorded, projected and transformed. It was the first time that I used the video effect live. Francis Van Aeken and I created the soundtrack.
Train (2005)
I have recorded this segment in the South Station in Brussels. Train stations are fascinating places featuring lots of movement of people and machines. I have presented this video in Recyclart (Brussels, Belgium).
Rope (2004)
Rope is the first video I made using myself as a subject. I presented this video in different places in Belgium: Gallery Espace Blanche (2004) – Gallery Tator for Superflux (2004) – PASS for ‘Pass en Lumières!’ (2005) – Prix Médiatine (2005) – Recyclart (2005).
